I am an ayurvedic practioner.
In today's society it has become hard to be ourselves
I fear most of us drifted far from our roots .
once which are been mediocre have become so valuable
In times we use to have brush our teeth with charcoal, twigs, salt even dung ash
Welcoming modern and "highly developed "culture into our lives we have lost our integrity,  soul and roots
Which makes our back bone
Suddenly became like dog's bone
And most of us became spineless
Again we buying the same old things in new forms paying high prices
Totally for getting we used to live better than this before
Our ancestors helped us have a better place than anyone
But instead of having gratitude
We have ridiculed them
Yes there are certain norms which are too wild
How far we eradicate them
In the name of modernisation
What have we achieved?
Is this the future our forefathers fought for
Is this the future we are securing for next
Is this the freedom or chains we chained our thoughts in the name prestige
Well every situation can't dwell on one principle
I wish the there would be a raise in quality than quantity
Let's our standards in thoughts and actions be raised
Let's our standards in our talks be raised
Let's our standards in love be raised
Let's our standards in c using ommon sense be raised
We are enjoying our comfort zone degrading the nature just like cutting a branch we build on
